Staff at BKC Pain Specialists and Regenerative Medicine Clinic involved in your care include: Nurse Practitioners, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), Medical Assistants (MA), an LPN, a Radiology Technologist, a Chemist, an Insurance Coordinator, Receptionists, an Office Manager, and a Practice Manager. We are also contracted with SafeRx Solutions to assist you with medication compliance and safety, as well as being contracted with a Psychologist who has specialized in Pain Management.


Adil Katabay

Dr. Adil Katabay, MD is a renowned interventional pain medicine specialist in Marion, OH. He has received his Medical Degree from the University of Wisconsin in Madison. He completed his Anesthesiology residency at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis and his Pain Management fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston (Harvard Medical School). Dr. Katabay has been practicing Interventional Pain Management since July of 2002 and is the owner of BKC Pain Specialists & Regenerative Medicine Clinic.

With a personal philosophy of perseverance and a willingness to help others, Dr Katabay listens to his patients, diagnoses their conditions and does his very best to control their pain via medications, physical therapy, pain psychology, TENS unit, and/or injections. His aim is to allow his patients to have a better life where their pain is not controlling them.

Dr. Katabay has 17 years of experience in minimally invasive procedures with additional training on the latest developments in the science and medical practice of Regenerative Medicine.

Dr Katabay performs his state of the art procedures under the guidance of a fluoroscopy unit to maximize results and recently started the healing power of regenerative therapies where the causes of painful conditions are naturally treated and healed. Regenerative therapies stimulate and accelerate your own body’s natural ability to heal itself. 

Dr. Katabay has received numerous awards including Most Compassionate Doctor, Top 10 Doctor in Ohio, Patients’ Choice award, America’s Most Honored Professional Top 1%, Strathmore’s Who’s Who, and he has been featured in the Leading Physicians of the World and Continental Who’s Who.

Dr. Katabay is fluent in English, French, Arabic and Oromo. His interests include soccer and traveling.

Mounir Sanhaji

Dr. Mounir Sanhaji received his medical degree from the school of Medicine and Pharmacy at the Hassan II University, Casablanca, Morocco. He completed his Medicine residency at the Ohio State University in 2005 where he was awarded the program director resident of excellence award. He has achieved and maintained board certification through the American Board of Family Medicine since 2005. Dr. Sanhaji also received his medical and interventional pain training at the Ohio State University. He completed his Pain and Palliative Medicine fellowship at the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital in 2006. Dr. Sanhaji achieved board certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine in 2010.

Dr. Sanhaji has been practicing as a pain specialist since he joined the department of Veterans Affairs in 2006. Dr. Sanhaji was in charge of the pain programs at the Chalmers P. Wylie VA Ambulatory Care Center in Columbus, Ohio. He succeeded in revamping pain management at the Columbus VA and established a bio-psycho-social approach supported by evidence-based medicine. He supervised a multidisciplinary pain team that provided medical and interventional pain management, pain psychology, and rehabilitative services. He was instrumental in the development of a strong chronic pain rehabilitation program which has been operational since 2009. He chaired the multidisciplinary pain committee and won multiple awards during his time with VA, both locally and nationally. Dr. Sanhaji was very influential in the implementation of the national VA opioid safety initiative emphasizing patient-safety and the proper use of opioids at the Columbus VA.

Dr. Sanhaji helped develop a Pain Management Self-Assessment Module used for board certification by The American Board of Family Medicine. He conducted multiple pain grand rounds in the Columbus area, at the Ohio state Medical Center, Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus Health department, and the Columbus VA.

Dr.Sanhaji has been practicing at BKC Pain Specialists in Marion, Ohio since 2015.

Dr Sanhaji has expertise in the diagnosis, medical treatment, and interventional treatment of acute pain, chronic non-malignant pain, and cancer pain.

Jennifer Datta

Certified Nurse Practitioner
Jennifer is a graduate of New York-Regents College and the State University of New York at Buffalo. She has a background in critical care, addiction medicine, pain management, and regenerative medicine. Jennifer has a very active lifestyle.
